The Lord Jesus Christ, before his ascension to heaven gave the great command saying “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

At the Last Days Pentecostal Ministries, we believe that baptism is a command from our Lord Jesus Christ as captured in the scripture above.

We believe that baptism is an important event in the believer’s walk with Jesus Christ. The Bible talks about water immersion baptism in which a believer makes a public confession of their faith.

Jesus led the way in the example of water baptism when he went to be baptized by John in Matthew 3:13-17.

The Bible is more emphatic in Mark 16:16 that “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

Our belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ is absolute that is why every year, on the last Saturday of July, the church organizes a baptism for all who have accepted Jesus Christ in fulfilment of scripture.
